Material Handler Forklift Operator, 1st Shift (Phoenix)
Overview
Own warehouse material movement and forklift operations in a fast paced manufacturing setting. You will receive instructions from team leads, maintain clean and organized work areas, and support cycle counts. You will work onsite in Phoenix with regular safety training and equipment use. This role offers a path to advancement through on the job training and cross training opportunities.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and unload materials from trucks and deliver to the router room to support production
- 2Inspect forklift and maintain safety records and inspection sheets
- 3Label, store, and retrieve inventory to maintain organized areas
- 4Assist in cycle counts and material replenishment to keep production flowing
- 5Dump trash, maintain cleanliness, and comply with safety policies and PPE requirements
- 6Put away inventory in a timely manner and notify supervisors of discrepancies
Requirements5
- 11 year experience in a related warehouse role
- 2Forklift certification preferred
- 3Must be able to operate a computer and learning to use a scanner
- 4Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
- 5Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with safety equipment
