Overview
Manage local delivery and execution of core loading to vendors and managers following Johnson Controls principles and corporate policies. Enhance employee engagement safety productivity and compliance within a manufacturing facility.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate a sit-down forklift and other industrial machinery like mobile column lifts or mobile entry crane.
- 2Rotate product into and out of buildings for manufacturing accessibility.
- 3Load and unload trucks with proper equipment to and from the facility.
- 4Check that loads are centered and properly loaded.
- 5Track manufacturing unit progress and know ship dates to ensure timely load outs.
- 6Problem solve and stay alert for changes to create solutions.
- 7Communicate with supervisor to ensure fulfillment in servicing out buildings.
- 8Multi-task and prioritize company daily schedules and requirements.
- 9Work with other job families like production to report timely movement of goods.
- 10Occasional pallet building and stacking crates pallets lumber or other material.
- 11Maintain clean work area.

- 1Safety policies must be always adhered to.
- 2Ability to work and communicate with prudence while managing time completing tasks and working safely.
- 3Use of Personal Protection Equipment including hardhat safety glasses safety boots ear protection cut level 5 gloves.
- 4Regularly works near moving parts.
- 5Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
- 6Requires occupational travel to offsite locations.
- 7Valid US Driver License.
- 8High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 92+ years previous experience loading and unloading.
- 10FLT certifications and crane certifications.
- 11Johnson Controls International plc experience.
