The Material Flow Engineering Manager leads design and execution of end-to-end material supply chain from suppliers to assembly lines ensuring high-volume production targets while maintaining efficiency and safety. - 3Direct deployment of material handling automation including AGVs ASRS and conveyor systems
- 4Develop material flow strategies analyzing cost space and throughput for sequencing batching and storage
- 5Oversee cross-functional databases ensuring data integrity for material tracking and inventory control
- 6Collaborate with IT to architect digital systems supporting operational requirements
- 7Configure control cycles for FLP and PACE systems automating material replenishment triggers
- 8Oversee efficient Lean safe factory layouts and material flow plans from receiving to production line
- 9Design high-efficiency warehouse layouts including kitting cells AGV pathways and optimized supply routes
- 10Specify material handling assets integrating tuggers AGVs forklift and custom racking systems
- 11Partner with CI team to prototype equipment and optimize process cycle times
- 12Manage cross-functional project teams vendor relationships and project timelines delivering safety quality and production metrics
- 13Conduct data-driven workload analysis determining precise headcount and labor allocation
- 14Lead formal buy-off procedures with operations ensuring new processes meet safety ergonomic and throughput standards
- 15Drive momentum through weekly status reporting cross-functional alignment meetings and proactive bottleneck escalation
- 16Author SOPs and Job Cards standardizing tasks minimizing process variation
- 17Provide subject matter expertise applying Design for Logistics principles during project conceptual phases
Requirements6
- 15 to 10 years experience in high-volume manufacturing OEMs logistics or supply chain engineering with at least 5 years leadership
- 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering Supply Chain Industrial Engineering or related field
- 32+ years data-based development of end-to-end supply chain logistics material flow processes for high volume high complexity facilities
- 4Demonstrated AutoCAD proficiency for layout planning with 2+ years experience
- 5Strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities for data analysis breaking down complex problems
- 6Hands-on experience with MES MRP or WMS systems
