Master Test Technician III, Electrical Testing
Overview
Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to meet the demands of Eaton's engineering departments for product development, sustainment, and certification. You will perform assembly of products and test setups, maintain lab test equipment, and track test request status. This role supports an on-site lab in Beaver, PA, working with engineering teams to achieve project goals. You will help maintain UL, CSA, IEC, and NEMA standards compliance while supporting 5S initiatives. The position offers benefits from day one and an annual salary range of $69,000 to $101,000.
What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct electrical tests per UL, CSA, IEC, and NEMA standards for distribution products to meet development and sustaining goals.
- 2Record accurate test data on standardized forms and deliver to project engineers for analysis.
- 3Repair and replace test fixtures, maintaining an active list to meet engineering demands.
- 4Organize and maintain a 5S lab environment to maximize efficiency and safety.
- 5Assist in developing and enforcing safety requirements to support EHS compliance.
- 6Execute pre and post calibrations, dielectric/thermal testing, circuit configurations, and vibration testing.
- 7Support multiple projects simultaneously to deliver on-time results for engineering.
- 8Share knowledge with technicians to improve team capabilities and core skills.
- 9Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and refine test setups.
Requirements6
- 1Associate's Degree in engineering or related technical field and 3+ years of work experience.
- 2Aptitude in electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office for test documentation and analysis.
- 4Familiarity with certification bodies such as UL, CSA, IEC, and NEMA.
- 5Ability to work on-site in Beaver, PA and reside within a 50-mile radius.
- 6No relocation or sponsorship support is available for this position.
