Overview
Lead electrical operations for a large workforce accommodations facility in Texas. Provide licensed electrical leadership and hands‑on technical expertise while supporting daily maintenance. Ensure safe reliable code‑compliant electrical infrastructure.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as the licensed Master Electrician and technical authority for all electrical systems
- 2Perform supervise and verify all electrical work including power distribution lighting panelboards breakers feeders service entrance equipment grounding bonding systems
- 3Diagnose troubleshoot and repair electrical faults across modular buildings
- 4Ensure electrical systems for temporary and modular structures are installed and maintained safely
- 5Act as Master of Record for electrical work as required by Texas law
- 6Support general maintenance activities coordinate with facilities and site leadership
- 7Conduct routine inspections identify deficiencies respond to service calls and urgent issues
- 8Document completed work inspections and deficiencies
- 9Enforce lock‑out/tag‑out procedures and electrical safety practices
- 10Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors
- 11Support audits inspections and regulatory reviews
Requirements10
- 1Active Texas Master Electrician license issued by TDLR
- 2Minimum 5+ years experience in commercial industrial or institutional electrical work
- 3Proven experience with temporary modular or prefabricated structures
- 4Strong knowledge of NEC and Texas regulations
- 5Experience supporting both electrical systems and general facilities maintenance
- 6Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- 7Ability to work independently take ownership of site electrical systems
- 8Excellent documentation communication and organizational skills
- 9Physically capable of working in mechanical and electrical rooms
