What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver customized massage therapy sessions for deep tissue, pain relief, relaxation, sports, prenatal, cupping, and Himalayan salt stone modalities based on client needs.
- 2Build a loyal client base through consistent, high-quality service that attracts generous tips from upscale Scottsdale clientele.
- 3Complete client intake and assess conditions to tailor each session for therapeutic outcomes.
- 4Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment space and sanitize equipment between sessions.
- 5Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow.
- 6Participate in ongoing training sessions led by the Therapist Educator to expand your modality skills.
- 7Track your own hours and client feedback to maximize earnings and growth opportunities.
- 8Uphold state licensing standards and AZ Massage Board regulations in all practice.
- 9Promote wellness by educating clients on self-care and follow-up massage benefits.
Requirements8
- 1Hold a current AZ Massage License or have applied for one with the AZ Massage Board.
- 21+ year of professional massage therapy experience (preferred, but new grads with strong skills are encouraged).
- 3Proficiency in deep tissue and relaxation massage techniques.
- 4Ability to perform sports, prenatal, cupping, or Himalayan salt stone massage (training provided if needed).
- 5Commit to providing high-quality therapeutic massage in a client-focused setting.
- 6Maintain a schedule of part-time or full-time hours, including some weekends or evenings.
- 7Demonstrate professional communication and a positive attitude with clients and team.
- 8Complete annual CEU courses to keep skills current and meet licensure requirements.
