Overview
The Manager leads O&P clinical staff ensuring device quality and acts as resource to patients families and public. Must hold certification in orthotics and prosthetics.
What You'll Do5
- 1Plan direct manage O&P clinical staff technician staff and department assistant staff
- 2Establish workflow communication with Fabrication Center east and west for custom fabrication
- 3Maintain ABC facility accreditation
- 4Demonstrate proficiency in OPIE software
- 5Fulfill professional duties of certified prosthetist or orthotist including patient confidentiality
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor Orthotics and Prosthetics degree
- 2ABC approved Orthotic and Prosthetic certificate program
- 3NCOPE residency completion
- 4American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics Minnesota licensure
- 5American Heart Association Basic Life Support card
- 6Three years clinical technical experience
- 7Five years hospital or medical office experience with insurance authorization
