Overview

Design Advising role supporting senior U.S. government clients with executive and operational support at scale. You will work with a multidisciplinary team delivering human-centered design and organizational psychology approaches across federal engagements. You will collaborate with leadership, clients, and internal partners to strengthen accounts, improve processes, and drive impactful outcomes. This role blends consulting mindset with hands-on execution and growth opportunities within Frontier and client engagements.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build high‑quality client deliverables with direction and oversight to drive impact
  • 2Design and present findings visually for diverse audiences through decks, reports, and scorecards
  • 3Lead qualitative and quantitative research, synthesize patterns into actionable insights
  • 4Coordinate with clients and teams, ask clarifying questions, and manage expectations
  • 5Engage in feedback loops, foster psychological safety, and model Frontier values
  • 6Contribute to training, apply human‑centered design and visual communications
  • 7Participate in meetings, take notes, and support executive decision‑making
  • 8Improve client experience and engagement by identifying operational enhancements
  • 9Demonstrate strong technical and organizational capabilities while remaining open to growth
  • 10Identify opportunities to broaden impact and support broader consulting priorities

Requirements10

  • 1Based in the Washington DC metropolitan area and able to work on site five days a week
  • 2Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
  • 3Two to five years of relevant experience supporting executive leadership, coordinating complex operations, or working in federal, public‑sector, or consulting environments
  • 4Ability to maintain a positive and constructive work environment
  • 5Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or equivalent background clearance per federal requirements
  • 6Strong organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills with minimal supervision
  • 7Empathy to understand stakeholder perspectives and frame engagements creatively
  • 8Foundational project and program management skills
  • 9Excellent interpersonal skills for relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • 10Willingness to grow from executive support into broader consulting, client engagement, or account responsibilities
