Management Consultant, Contingency & International Programs
Overview
You will own financial analytics and reconciliation for Contingency and International Programs (CIP) at the Pentagon, supporting senior Department of War (DoW) leadership with real-world contingency decision-making. You will build dashboards, integrate budget data into the War Data Platform (formerly Advana), and align financial requirements with strategic plans. Working with a collaborative team at Redwood Strategy Group, a minority-owned EDWOSB, you will deliver executive-level reports and support audits. What You'll Do10
- 1Build dashboards and summary reports to support DoW senior leadership decision-making for contingency programs.
- 2Compile and analyze large volumes of budget and financial data, partnering with stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- 3Integrate financial data into the War Data Platform (formerly Advana) and test data accuracy for contingency requirements.
- 4Drive the submission quality check process, coordinating with agencies to resolve data discrepancies.
- 5Coordinate with system managers to identify and recommend improvements to data collection and Advana functionality.
- 6Ship consolidated briefings and information papers by reviewing, reconciling, and reporting financial data against plans and forecasts.
- 7Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures and compile data for audit closure and congressional reports.
- 8Assist in answering DoW senior leadership budget questions by applying PPBE knowledge to draft responses.
- 9Manage Request for Information (RFI) consolidation and preparation, including congressional inquiries.
- 10Translate business requirements into technical requirements for War Data Platform enhancements.
Requirements10
- 1Secret clearance is required
- 2BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited institution
- 310+ years experience with a Master's degree, or 16+ years without a Master's in a related field
- 4Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily
- 53+ years experience with DoW financial management analytics and reconciliations
- 6Demonstrated experience using the War Data Platform (formerly Advana)
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 8Excellent writing skills to deliver quality products under tight deadlines
- 9Outstanding communication and customer service skills to collaborate with stakeholders across DoW
- 10Experience managing customer expectations and handling ad hoc requests
