Lead daily maintenance operations to transform apartments into homes. Manage repairs and ensure high-quality service standards across all property areas.
What You'll Do9
- 1Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within quality and time standards
- 2Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of community by ensuring grounds amenities building interiors market ready units breezeways curbs signage leasing office central garbage areas parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris trash graffiti and other items affecting appearance
- 3Perform electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry appliance repair and other miscellaneous equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
- 4Carpet cleaning painting and overall apartment cleaning or other activities as necessary or as directed
- 5Maintain tools equipment and workspace ensuring they are organized and in proper working order requesting replacements as necessary and assisting in stocking inventory
- 6Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
- 7Assist in other duties as assigned or as necessary
- 8Share expertise skill and commitment to excellence with UDR team
- 9Promote employee development through ongoing education opportunities
Requirements5
- 1Technical or vocational certificate and or degree preferred minimum two years experience in building and mechanical maintenance including plumbing electrical appliance repair painting and drywall
- 2Knowledge and experience of HVAC and carpentry a plus
- 3EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
- 4Valid driver’s license and rotating on-call responsibility required
- 5Some locations require certification in pool operation CPO
