Maintenance Technician RMG Management
Overview
RMG Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain properties and ensure tenant satisfaction in Hackensack NJ. The role involves troubleshooting repairs and meeting regulatory standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong customer service skills and a commitment to quality work.
What You'll Do5
- 1Troubleshoot and repair service issues including HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- 2Ensure that both the interior and exterior of the property meet company standards and comply with all applicable regulations
- 3Respond to maintenance tickets and follow up with residents and office staff on the status of work
- 4Participate in an on-call rotation that may require flexibility for nights and weekends
- 5Perform preventative maintenance and work to improve the overall condition of the property
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver’s license, good driving record, personal vehicle, and auto insurance
- 2Must live within a 30-minute commute of the property
- 3Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 4Minimum of 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
- 5High school diploma or GED required
- 6Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening
- 7HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification and/or Boiler’s License is a plus
