Overview
You will own maintenance operations for Worth Capital properties in Columbus, Ohio, handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs at scale. Reporting to the property manager, you will work alongside a team of technicians to keep units turn-ready and residents satisfied. This role offers a mix of hands-on repair work and rotating on-call duties, making it ideal for a technician who thrives on variety.
What You'll Do7
- 1Complete assigned work orders for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs within 24 hours.
- 2Turn units for new residents by inspecting, repairing, and cleaning to meet quality standards.
- 3Diagnose issues with diagnostic tools and replace parts to restore optimal functionality.
- 4Participate in rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends to ensure rapid emergency response.
- 5Address interior and exterior building issues, including door knob and lock replacements, to maintain property integrity.
- 6Conduct and document fire extinguisher and exit light inspections monthly.
- 7Communicate with residents and management about maintenance status and follow-up actions.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in multi-family housing.
- 2Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- 3Own personal tools and a valid driver's license.
- 4Availability to work on-call evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- 6Good written and verbal communication skills.
