Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to lead property upkeep at The Bridgewater Apartments in Carmel Indiana. You will own resident satisfaction through proactive repairs and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role drives operational excellence across multiple properties.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain comprehensive maintenance programs using Python and AWS
- 2Design and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- 3Lead emergency response teams during snow removal and seasonal transitions
- 4Diagnose and resolve complex electrical plumbing and mechanical issues
- 5Train junior technicians on safety protocols and equipment usage
- 6Develop inventory management systems for building supplies
- 7Implement energy-efficient solutions across all rental units
- 8Conduct regular audits of facility infrastructure
- 9Drive continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance workflows
- 10Coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely service delivery
- 11Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance or related field
- 3Valid driver’s license and compliant auto insurance
- 4Proficiency with Spark and Airflow platforms
- 5Certified in CPC Card or equivalent industry certification
- 6Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
- 7Strong understanding of React for internal reporting dashboards
- 8Ability to troubleshoot HVAC and small appliance systems
- 9Knowledge of Indiana state regulations for vehicle insurance
