What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare make-ready apartments by completing repairs, painting, and appliance checks within 72 hours of vacancy.
- 2Complete service requests for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry using CMMS software.
- 3Perform common area maintenance including hallway lighting, groundskeeping, and pool upkeep.
- 4Maintain inventory and shop organization to ensure tools and parts are accessible for all shifts.
- 5Participate in the preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce emergency calls.
- 6Engage with residents through satisfaction programs, addressing concerns and building trust.
- 7Communicate with vendors, leadership, and team members to coordinate repairs and updates.
- 8Support the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs by following OSHA standards and documenting hazards.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- 21+ years in apartment maintenance or a related trade with knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- 3EPA certification and HVAC I & II or CPO certification (required).
- 4Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- 5Own a basic set of hand tools.
- 6Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
- 7Basic computer skills for work order entry and email.
- 8Able to work variable schedules including weekends and on-call emergencies.
