You will work within a market team alongside Leasing, Property Management, and Rehab, Turns & Maintenance to keep homes resident-ready. Using an industry-leading maintenance mobile app, you will coordinate schedules and document every task. This role stands out for its focus on proactive care and the support of a national home provider with smart home technology.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Complete maintenance service requests across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, HVAC, and appliances within 90 days.
  • 2Deliver excellent customer service while respecting each resident's home and privacy.
  • 3Perform ProCare visits using the maintenance mobile app to run proactive repairs and schedule follow-ups.
  • 4Educate residents on home systems and Responsibilities via the Invitation Homes portal.
  • 5Assess property conditions at every visit and alert management on urgent issues.
  • 6Review technician reports to find improvement opportunities and adjust daily plans.
  • 7Prepare vacant homes for market or turnover by completing repairs and inspections.
  • 8Maintain and care for company tools, materials, and vehicles.
  • 9Daily review next-day appointments to ensure tools, parts, and time are prepped for efficient completion.
  • 10Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards immediately.

Requirements9

  • 11-2 years proven experience in residential repair and maintenance.
  • 2OSHA 10 certification required, may earn within 90 days of hire.
  • 3EPA Type I, II, or Universal, HVAC, or CPO certification preferred.
  • 4Skilled in general repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, and appliances.
  • 5Comfortable using iPad and iPhone with mobile apps.
  • 6Strong verbal and written communication, multi-lingual a plus.
  • 7Valid driver's license and auto insurance, plus any state-required licenses.
  • 8Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks like climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
  • 9Provide basic hand and power tools.
