Maintenance Technician, High-Speed Manufacturing
Overview
You will own uptime for high-speed bottling and canning lines, troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, pneumatics, and motors in a facility that runs 24/7. Working alongside a dedicated maintenance crew and a supportive supervisor, you will respond to machine faults, perform electrical diagnostics on sensors and relays, and execute precision TIG and stick welding on stainless steel. The role demands mechanical problem-solving under production pressure, with quarterly bonuses and clear paths to promotion. You will directly reduce downtime and keep production moving in a fast-paced beverage environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Troubleshoot and repair high-speed production equipment including bottling and canning lines.
- 2Maintain and repair capping and filling equipment to keep lines running.
- 3Diagnose issues on conveyor systems, pneumatic components, and motors.
- 4Perform electrical troubleshooting on sensors, proximity switches, and relays.
- 5Repair stainless steel equipment using TIG and stick welding techniques.
- 6Minimize downtime by rapidly identifying and resolving equipment failures.
- 7Support preventive maintenance tasks and document repairs in CMMS.
Requirements7
- 13+ years troubleshooting and repairing high-speed production equipment in manufacturing.
- 2Hands-on experience with conveyor systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and motor repair.
- 3Proven electrical troubleshooting skills with sensors, proximity switches, and relays.
- 4Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
- 5TIG and stick welding experience on stainless steel preferred.
- 6Familiarity with automated material handling and packaging equipment such as cappers, fillers, and labelers.
- 7Experience in automotive, industrial, aircraft, beverage, or canning maintenance environments preferred.
