What You'll Do8
- 1Lead maintenance operations for 2nd shift, ensuring timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on ovens, mixers, and packaging lines.
- 2Build and manage maintenance schedules with production planning to minimize downtime and meet bakery output targets.
- 3Supervise, train, and develop maintenance technicians, focusing on safety, skill growth, and engagement.
- 4Own CMMS data integrity, work orders, and documentation to track asset health and maintenance history.
- 5Analyze equipment downtime trends and implement root cause corrective actions to boost reliability.
- 6Coordinate contractor work, major maintenance projects, and capital improvements to upgrade facility infrastructure.
- 7Maintain plant, equipment, and grounds to meet FDA and company safety standards.
- 8Drive continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles to maintenance workflows.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in a maintenance department, with hands-on troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- 2High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 5Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance tracking tools.
- 6Strong leadership and communication skills to direct a shift team.
- 7Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, and preventive maintenance practices.
- 8Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) and weekends as needed.
