Maintenance Purchasing Specialist - PPC FLEX
Overview
Support Maintenance Department by ensuring timely purchasing and inventory control. Associate responsible for coordinating vendor communication and aligning parts availability with planned work. Primary goal is to reduce downtime and improve repair readiness at Kansas City Facility.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build relationships with vendors to obtain quotes and follow up on deliveries
- 2Design and maintain accurate CMMS/Limble inventory records for spare parts and consumables
- 3Create purchase orders using ERP and CMMS systems for maintenance consumables
- 4Manage physical inventory of hardware and lubricants through proper organization
- 5Track material consumption during repairs for replenishment and cost tracking
- 6Utilize analysis tools in CMMS/Limble and Excel to reduce inventory costs
- 7Coordinate with senior managers and technicians to resolve part shortages
- 8Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures during procurement
- 9Perform inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to management
- 10Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance purchasing processes
- 11Document material usage to support future planning and audits
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons managing CMMS/Limble systems
- 3Proven experience with AWS and Limble platforms
- 4Expertise in purchase requisition and ERP software
- 5Strong mechanical aptitude for identifying components and materials
Salary Insight
$60 - $75k per year
