Maintenance Manager, Plant Operations & OEM
Overview
You own plant maintenance for a global packaging leader, directing a 24/7 team across jumbo-scale machinery. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll drive reliability, preventive programs, and vendor partnerships. What You'll Do8
- 1Supervise daily maintenance planning and execution for a 24/7 team, covering electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- 2Report plant-impacting issues to the Site Manager while providing technical expertise on equipment and facilities.
- 3Build a cost-effective preventive maintenance program with CMMS and implement quality and cost reduction ideas.
- 4Partner with vendors and subcontractors to secure parts and services, managing spare parts inventory.
- 5Drive machine reliability initiatives using data-driven troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- 6Plan, schedule, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion across all shifts.
- 7Conduct safety and environmental audits weekly, monthly, and annually, addressing hazards proactively.
- 8Foster positive relations with plant management, supervisors, and hourly staff to support housekeeping and communication.
Requirements7
- 15+ years supervisory experience in maintenance, preferably in packaging or manufacturing.
- 2Proven track record managing 24/7 maintenance teams and coordinating shift coverage.
- 3Hands-on expertise with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- 4Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and spare parts inventory.
- 5Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making for reliability.
- 6Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.
- 7Willingness to work salaried, approximately 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays.
