You will own maintenance work planning for electrical systems at a major power generation facility, serving 8,300 employees across 12 countries. What You'll Do8

  • 1Develop detailed work plans for electrical maintenance tasks, including job steps, materials, and resources, using CMMS/EAP and SAP.
  • 2Procure materials and services for scheduled maintenance and outage work, aligning with budget and timeline constraints.
  • 3Lead work request review meetings, coordinating with plant departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
  • 4Perform job hazard analyses for electrical tasks and issue permits such as LOTO, hot work, and confined space entries.
  • 5Analyze maintenance histories to identify process improvements, making work plans more productive and cost-effective.
  • 6Prepare resource-loaded maintenance schedules, balancing labor and equipment availability across teams.
  • 7Generate routine maintenance reports tracking performance metrics and compliance with safety standards.
  • 8Collaborate with planners and technicians to refine work packages and ensure accuracy of SAP data.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of generating station electrical maintenance experience, or equivalent planning experience.
  • 2Working knowledge of industry work management best practices, including planning and scheduling.
  • 3Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with EAP, SAP, and scheduling software.
  • 4Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across teams and document plans.
  • 5Project management experience preferred, with certification or a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.
  • 6Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities with commitment to deadlines.
  • 7Willingness to work in a union environment and support 24x7 operations.
  • 8Self-motivated with strong organizational, technical, and estimating/planning skills.
