Overview
Join our team at Brighton Post Acute as a Maintenance Assistant. This part-time role offers $18 to $20 an hour on Mondays Fridays and Saturdays with on-call rotation. The position supports resident comfort through safe well-maintained environments guided by Passion Respect and Excellence.
What You'll Do7
- 1Complete daily physical rounds to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns
- 2Perform minor plumbing electrical mechanical and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment
- 3Review maintenance request logs and complete work orders accurately and promptly
- 4Collaborate with staff to improve resident living spaces and overall facility environment
- 5Assist with furniture moves equipment repairs and general maintenance projects
- 6Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to support resident safety and comfort
- 7Ensure all work follows safety standards facility policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2One year of general maintenance experience including painting plumbing carpentry electrical or HVAC
- 3Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- 4Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices
- 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
