Overview
You will own production of pumps and compressor components using CNC equipment at Honeywell. This role impacts quality and timeliness within the Performance Materials business. You will report to Production Supervisor and work onsite in Arvada CO.
What You'll Do11
- 1Utilize blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products
- 2Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner to minimize unsafe conditions
- 3Set up and operate numerous machine tools to precision tolerances from blueprints and sketches
- 4Maintain all process documentation
- 5Make modifies or improvises tooling and gauging to complete assignments
- 6Repair hardware or machine components per written or verbal instructions and perform precision machining operations to highest quality standards
- 7Perform inspection of product using micrometers dial indicators surface plate and associated accessories bench comparators profilometers optical comparators as required
- 8Strive to maintain high personal productivity level and train other employees when necessary
- 9Learn and apply new information and concepts within the technical area
- 10Provide special guidance on more unusual task completions and suggest solutions
- 11Identify problems and suggest solutions
Requirements6
- 17+ years of milling experience
- 2Strong mechanical ability and machine expertise
- 3Ability to read and interpret GD&T complex engineering drawings
- 43+ years of shop trigonometry
- 5HS Diploma or GED Associate degree or Technical Certification
- 6Strong working knowledge of CNC machining including G&M code
