What You'll Do6
- 1Operate and monitor Armor, Cabler, and Packaging machines, running up to 5 at once to meet production targets.
- 2Prepare, inspect, and maintain equipment for safe operation, using calipers, wrenches, sockets, pliers, knives, and tape measures.
- 3Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following OSHA and Prysmian safety standards.
- 4Report safety concerns immediately to supervisors to prevent incidents.
- 5Support production as directed by supervisors, adapting to changing priorities.
- 6Work reliably as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive environment.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 2Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- 3Ability to perform very physically demanding work, including frequent bending, twisting, standing, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
- 4Ability to use standard hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, sockets, pliers, knives, and tape measures.
- 5Must not be color blind.
- 6Ability to multitask and run multiple machines at once.
- 7Strong reliability and willingness to learn.
- 8Preferred: farming or farm-hand experience due to familiarity with labor-intensive work.
- 9Preferred: candidates open to 3rd shift and overnight schedules, with weekend availability required.
