Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Production
Overview
You will operate and maintain production equipment at Prysmian's advanced single-campus manufacturing facility in McKinney, Texas, supporting the world leader in energy and digital connection solutions. You will join a 9,000-member North American team, working hands-on with manufacturing machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. Starting pay is $17-$20 per hour with overtime at 1.5x pay and overnight shift differential. This role offers guided training, stable full-time work, and career growth in a global company.
What You'll Do5
- 1Prepare and inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, following OSHA and Prysmian safety guidelines.
- 2Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors or safety team.
- 3Support production needs by performing duties assigned by your supervisor, including operating tools and materials.
- 4Contribute to a high-performing team environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
- 5Maintain consistent, dependable attendance and support 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- 3Ability to perform essential physical duties: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
- 4Comfort in a loud environment with extreme temperatures and some outdoor tasks.
- 5Reliability, commitment to teamwork, and willingness to learn and adapt.
