Overview

As a Support Nurse (LPN) at Americare Senior Living, you will provide direct resident care during short-term assignments across our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in the Springfield, TN area. You will supervise caregiving staff, administer medications, and support care planning while maintaining a person-centered, home-like environment. This role travels between communities, offering variety and flexibility with no on-call requirement. What You'll Do8

  • 1Provide direct nursing care to residents during short-term assignments, ensuring continuity of care.
  • 2Supervise and support caregiving staff to meet residents' physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • 3Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
  • 4Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and monitoring of changes in condition.
  • 5Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for each assignment.

Requirements10

  • 1Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • 2Current LPN or RN license required.
  • 3Maintains current state registration and required continuing education.
  • 4Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.
  • 5Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
  • 6Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • 7Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 8Commitment to senior care and resident-centered service.
  • 9Flexibility to support multiple communities as needed.
  • 10Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., assist with resident transfers, and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs..
