What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare and room patients by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information

- 4Administer medications vaccines and insulin under physician orders
- 5Initiate and manage IV therapy and fluid administration
- 6Provide patient education on self-care skills and treatment plans
- 7Document accurate patient information and communicate findings to providers
- 8Perform advanced clinical tasks like suturing catheterization and wound care
- 9Organize exam rooms and maintain clinical equipment
- 10Participate in patient centered initiatives and quality improvement activities
- 11Maintain compliance with safety protocols and handle hazardous materials
Requirements7
- 1Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by state
- 2Basic Life Support certification from AHA
- 3Completion of accredited practical nursing program
- 4No prior experience required
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 6Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- 7Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems
