What You'll Do9
- 1Perform clinical examinations for outpatient visits including new patients consults and established patients with gastroenterology concerns
- 2Order and interpret diagnostic test results
- 3Serve as a resource for patient and family questions and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans
- 4Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment options and self‑care strategies
- 5Write orders and prescriptions and make specialist referrals as needed
- 6Collaborate with APPs and physicians using established protocols
- 7Maintain confidential patient charts and document outcomes accurately
- 8Adapt to evolving technologies and policies through critical thinking and flexibility
- 9Assume personal accountability for departmental and organizational missions
Requirements5
- 1Master’s degree in nursing or related field with 2+ years GI experience preferred
- 2Active physician assistant license issued by the state of Colorado
- 3Certification by the National Certified Certified Professional Automation (NCCPA)
- 45+ years of gastrointestinal clinical experience
- 5Bold technology references include Python AWS React Kubernetes
