What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate domestic and international shipments of flight hardware engineering product demonstration units marketing materials and other company property
- 2Serve as primary logistics point of contact across Supply Chain Engineering Production Quality Product Business Development and Marketing teams
- 3Plan and execute shipments for customer demonstrations trade shows field testing supplier activities and international movements including returns
- 4Select optimal shipping methods and negotiate contracts with parcel carriers freight forwarders and couriers based on schedule cost and handling requirements
- 5Support customs clearance by providing detailed shipment documentation including values descriptions country of origin HTS classifications ECCN information and Incoterms
- 6Manage temporary exports return shipments repairs and supplier shipments through non-standard logistics channels
- 7Pack crating and label sensitive hardware according to ESD FOD export and quality requirements
- 8Perform receiving processes verify quantities and maintain accurate packing-list documentation for hardware electronic components and raw materials
- 9Support inventory transactions cycle counts material issuance and reconciliation for flight hardware and production materials
- 10Kit and issue inventory to manufacturing integration engineering and test teams following BOMs work orders and production schedules
- 11Maintain organized controlled inventory staging shipping and receiving areas using 5S ESD FOD protocols and collaborate on safety initiatives
Requirements11
- 15+ years logistics shipping receiving materials or supply chain experience in aviation space defense electronics manufacturing
- 2Proven experience coordinating domestic and international shipments especially time-sensitive or high-value hardware
- 3Familiarity with parcel carriers freight forwarders customs brokers and other transportation providers
- 4Expertise preparing international shipping documentation supporting customs clearance
- 5Knowledge of HTS classifications ECCN basics country of origin Incoterms commercial invoices and controlled-item handling
- 6Understanding of export-controlled hardware and U.S. trade compliance requirements
- 7Ability to pack and handle ESD-sensitive serialized or configuration-controlled hardware
- 8Experience with receiving inventory transactions cycle counts and material issuance
- 9Strong organizational skills managing multiple simultaneous shipments with varying deadlines and handling needs
- 10Physical stamina to perform standing packing crating labeling and material movement tasks
- 11Valid U.S. citizenship green card or protected individual status for government roles plus relevant security clearances where required
