What You'll Do9

  • 1Operate and repair wastewater equipment including pumps motors valves
  • 2Perform line locates per Tennessee 811 guidelines
  • 3Conduct tank inspections and address leaks promptly
  • 4Respond to service calls and complete scheduled maintenance
  • 5Monitor system gauges to maintain proper balance
  • 6Assist in collection system maintenance and repairs
  • 7Document equipment maintenance and repairs accurately
  • 8Follow safety procedures and regulations
  • 9Work under supervision while communicating with maintenance supervisor

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2Wastewater BNS or Collection Systems license after one year
  • 3Experience with decentralized wastewater collection systems
  • 4Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • 5Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions
