Overview
Manage line locates and tank inspections for Tennessee wastewater services. Oversee pump motor valve repairs and respond to service calls across two counties. Ensure proper system balance and maintain accurate equipment records. Seek candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with wastewater processes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate and repair wastewater equipment including pumps motors valves
- 2Perform line locates per Tennessee 811 guidelines
- 3Conduct tank inspections and address leaks promptly
- 4Respond to service calls and complete scheduled maintenance
- 5Monitor system gauges to maintain proper balance
- 6Assist in collection system maintenance and repairs
- 7Document equipment maintenance and repairs accurately
- 8Follow safety procedures and regulations
- 9Work under supervision while communicating with maintenance supervisor
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Wastewater BNS or Collection Systems license after one year
- 3Experience with decentralized wastewater collection systems
- 4Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- 5Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions
