Overview
You will own medical lien reduction for a personal injury firm with $1.6 billion recovered for clients. Work alongside trial attorneys in a hands-on, aggressive litigation environment. You will negotiate directly with Medi-Cal, Medicare, Kaiser and private providers. This role stands out for its direct client advocacy and high settlement impact.
What You'll Do5
- 1Collect, review, and itemize client medical bills and records
- 2Negotiate reductions on medical provider, attorney fee, subrogation, and child support liens
- 3Draft and submit lien reduction letters to Medi-Cal, Medicare, Kaiser, and other entities
- 4Maintain accurate lien status updates in the firm’s case management system
- 5Communicate with clients and medical providers regarding lien status and settlement updates
Requirements5
- 11-2 years of direct lien negotiation experience preferred, but not required
- 2Familiarity with California lien laws and common lienholders
- 3Strong negotiation and communication skills
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- 5Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
