Overview
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will own the full therapeutic process for a diverse caseload, from initial psychosocial assessment to ongoing treatment and care coordination. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and community partners to deliver integrated mental health care. This onsite role in New York offers the chance to directly impact client outcomes through evidence-based psychotherapy and client advocacy.
What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and establish baselines for treatment.
- 2Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, adjusting interventions based on client progress.
- 3Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT.
- 4Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community resources, ensuring seamless transitions and referrals.
- 5Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- 6Advocate for clients’ needs within healthcare and social systems, removing barriers to access.
- 7Participate in case conferences and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements7
- 1Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- 2Current LCSW licensure in the state of New York.
- 33+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings.
- 4Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, including CBT and DBT.
- 5Experience conducting psychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans.
- 6Strong documentation skills with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- 7Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
