Legal Assistant, Debt Recovery & Court Filing Support
Overview
Own legal administrative support for a nationwide creditor rights firm, handling documents and data processing onsite in Overland Park KS. Collaborate with attorneys and the Office Manager to maintain workflow and filing across state systems. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage legal documents and data in internal systems to ensure accurate workflow
- 2Prepare and file pleadings with state court filing systems or e-file portals
- 3Provide on-site administrative support to attorneys and the Office Manager
- 4Answer incoming calls and communicate clearly with team members and external parties
- 5Utilize software to update account status and maintain accurate records
- 6Assist with office management tasks and adherence to standard operating procedures
- 7Support compliance requirements and participate in process improvements
- 8Perform other duties as assigned
- 9Maintain professionalism and attention to detail in all interactions
- 10Log and track tasks to meet client and firm expectations
