Leasing Team Member, Apartment Community
Overview
You will own the leasing process at a Dallas apartment community, targeting 100% occupancy through resident retention and new leases. You will work with the Cardinal Way of Leasing system and Cardinal U training to master sales and service. Your days will mix tours, phone calls, and lease paperwork, with support from the Community Manager. This role rewards high energy and a positive attitude with bonus potential and clear advancement paths.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet prospective residents warmly and answer incoming leasing calls to capture interest.
- 2Determine prospect needs and preferences, then present the community and apartment homes using feature/benefit selling.
- 3Close leases by overcoming objections and following up with prospects within 24 hours.
- 4Complete all lease applications and file paperwork accurately, maintaining lease files per company policy.
- 5Keep the tour path spotless to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
- 6Participate in community events to boost resident engagement and retention.
- 7Assist with additional projects assigned by the Community Manager, including lease file audits.
- 8Complete Cardinal U training modules to sharpen sales and service skills.
Requirements9
- 11-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
- 2Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 3High energy with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- 4Passion for providing excellent service to residents and prospects.
- 5Warm, friendly, and helpful demeanor, both in person and on the phone.
- 6Basic computer skills, including typing and email correspondence.
- 7High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 8Availability to work evenings and weekends.
