What You'll Do19
- 1Greet all guests standing upright while maintaining high quality customer service
- 2Lock and unlock vacant units and ensure surrounding areas are model condition
- 3Show units to prospects and follow up on daily traffic
- 4Prepare all lease documents and process applications with credit checks background checks and rental history reviews
- 5Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval and follow up with applicants
- 6Ensure apartments are ready for move-in on agreed dates
- 7Follow up on closed prospects and attempt to reclose deals or refer to sister communities
- 8Maintain product knowledge of the property sister properties and competitors
- 9Secure signatures on new resident paperwork before move-in and orient new residents
- 10Open the leasing office daily and prepare refreshments for potential guests
- 11Take phones off overnight service and respond to voicemails professionally
- 12Report rule violations damage theft and found articles to supervisors
- 13Observe safety precautions and report incidents related to fire alarm systems
- 14Call police or fire departments for emergencies like fires or unauthorized persons
- 15Close out work orders and follow up with residents
- 16Coordinate with administrative staff to update resident information
- 17Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase property traffic and internet leads
- 18Post and update social media advertisements to improve property visibility
- 19Participate in community events
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma with two years of leasing experience
- 2Ability to communicate in English
- 3Strong leasing and closing skills with computer proficiency
- 4Experience operating telephone personal computers Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
- 5Familiarity with community software and ability to explain lease documents
- 6Proven track record in selling properties and meeting flexible schedule demands
- 7Compliance with employee handbook expectations
- 8Physical ability to lift 25lbs or less climb four flights of stairs and walk several acres
- 9Stamina to stand for long periods and sit at a desk for extended durations
