What You'll Do11
- 1Create and perform abstracts for all new leases and amendments
- 2Set up and maintain leases in property management software
- 3Interpret lease languages and enter them into the system
- 4Set up and maintain pass-through worksheets for Common Area Maintenance and Real Estate Taxes
- 5Review leases and abstractions
- 6Calculate percentage rent charges where appropriate
- 7Input cash receipts in property management software following SOPs
- 8Work with Property Managers to research outstanding tenant account issues
- 9Maintain data in a database ensuring quality assurance for abstracted data
- 10Produce monthly recurring rent variance reports with explanations
- 11Perform operating expense preliminary reviews and provide supporting documentation
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in commercial real estate or property leasing
- 3Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Finance or Business
- 4Proficiency in Excel and property management software
- 5Strong understanding of lease abstraction processes
- 6Experience with accounts payable/receivable
- 7Familiarity with Common Area Maintenance and Real Estate Taxes pass-through worksheets
- 8Ability to calculate percentage rent charges
- 9Knowledge of lease amendment creation and execution
- 10Experience with invoice review and payment alignment
