What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and implement Wonder of Learning curriculum and age-appropriate lesson plans to engage each child
  • 2Lead daily activities to support developmental milestones and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment
  • 3Design and maintain positive family communication about progress and daily activities
  • 4Supervise indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health safety standards and licensing requirements
  • 5Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and share learnings with the team
  • 6Observe, assess and document learning progress to inform activities and inform families
  • 7Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers to foster a strong team dynamic
  • 8Model and apply positive guidance strategies to support social emotional growth
  • 9Engage in documentation and assessment practices to support child development goals
  • 10Nurture relationships with children, families and staff to build a supportive school community

Requirements10

  • 1Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • 21-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
  • 3State-required pre-service training completed
  • 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to support child handling
  • 5Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, families and faculty members
  • 6Energetic, nurturing demeanor with a collaborative team mindset
  • 7Strong classroom management skills and commitment to health and safety standards
  • 8Passion for education and child development and readiness to grow within the school
  • 9Experience implementing developmentally appropriate curricula using evidence-based strategies
  • 10Comfort with on-site role in a daycare/preschool setting
