- 1Build engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
- 2Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
- 3Communicate openly and positively with families about progress and daily activities
- 4Supervise indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards
- 5Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills
- 6Observe, assess, and document children’s learning to inform activities
- 7Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers to foster a collaborative team
- 8Model and implement positive guidance strategies for social-emotional growth
- 9Ensure licensing regulations and school policies are followed
- 10Collaborate with the team to create a joyful learning atmosphere
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 2CDA preferred
- 31-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- 4State-required pre-service training completed
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist with children
- 6Effective communication with children, families, and faculty members
- 7Energetic, nurturing mindset and willingness to collaborate in a fun workplace
