What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning to support each child’s growth
- 2Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- 3Maintain open, effective communication with families about progress and daily activities
- 4Supervise indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health, safety, and licensing standards
- 5Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills
- 6Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development to inform activities
- 7Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers to foster collaboration and a positive team environment
- 8Model and apply positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution
- 9Lead daily activities and inspire young minds in a structured program
- 10Collaborate with school leadership to ensure program quality and compliance
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 2CDA preferred
- 31-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool preferred
- 4Has completed state-required pre-service training
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children
- 6Strong communication with children, families and faculty members
- 7Energetic, nurturing demeanor and team-oriented mindset
- 8Onsite role in Wayne, PA
- 9Must be able to pass background checks and related regulatory requirements
