What You'll Do7
- 1Build age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers in a 2-year-old classroom
- 2Design a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports social emotional and cognitive development
- 3Supervise and engage children during meals nap time and play to ensure well being and learning
- 4Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
- 5Maintain accurate developmental records and assessments for each child
- 6Collaborate with assistant teachers and school staff to ensure classroom consistency
- 7Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards
Requirements7
- 1Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- 2Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead teacher toddler experience a plus
- 3Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 2-year-olds
- 4Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children parents and staff
- 5Ability to pass a background check and meet Texas childcare licensing requirements
- 6CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- 7Patient energetic and passionate about early childhood development
