What You'll Do9
- 1Lead the design of scalable software architectures, making key technology choices in Java, Python, and AWS.
- 2Drive implementation of microservices and event-driven systems, coding critical modules in Java and Spring Boot.
- 3Set coding standards and review code for quality, security, and performance, using Git and Jenkins.
- 4Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- 5Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical designs and execution plans.
- 6Troubleshoot production issues, applying AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch and X-Ray.
- 7Own the end-to-end delivery of features from planning to production, ensuring on-time release.
- 8Evaluate and integrate third-party services, balancing cost and reliability.
- 9Document system designs and run books to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Requirements8
- 18+ years in software engineering with focus on backend systems.
- 2Expert in Java and Spring Boot, with production experience in microservices.
- 34+ years designing and deploying on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- 4Strong grasp of relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB.
- 5Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
- 6Deep understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices.
- 7Proven track record leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
- 8Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
