What You'll Do8
- 1Lead a team of offshore engineers (DEV and QA) to deliver backend features
- 2Bridge communication between onshore business teams and offshore developers
- 3Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring
- 4Own the technical roadmap, making architectural decisions for backend systems
- 5Review code and enforce best practices for performance and reliability
- 6Coordinate with QA to ensure test coverage and quality standards
- 7Participate in daily standups and provide technical guidance across time zones
- 8Debug production issues and optimize backend performance
Requirements8
- 15+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring
- 22+ years leading a team of engineers, including offshore resources
- 3Experience working with onshore/offshore collaboration models during EST hours
- 4Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and database design
- 5Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- 6Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical tasks
- 7Ability to mentor junior developers and perform code reviews
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
