Overview
You will lead the hygiene department at a privately owned dental office in Philadelphia, shaping patient care and team standards. You will deliver comprehensive cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient education while guiding hygiene staff. You will own clinical workflows, infection prevention, and EHR accuracy across Eaglesoft or Dentrix. This part-time role (3-4 days, Monday-Thursday) offers leadership growth and no late nights. What You'll Do7
- 1Lead and supervise the hygiene team, assigning tasks and ensuring quality care.
- 2Perform comprehensive cleanings and periodontal assessments for diverse patients.
- 3Interpret dental x-rays and imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- 4Conduct patient assessments including vitals and medical history, documenting in EHR.
- 5Enforce infection prevention protocols with aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance.
- 6Manage EHR documentation, medical coding, and billing support in Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- 7Train new hygienists on equipment like itero scanners and best practices.
Requirements8
- 1Valid RDH licensure with current state certification.
- 23-5 years experience in general dentistry.
- 3Prior experience mentoring or supervising hygiene staff.
- 4Proficiency in dental terminology and equipment operation.
- 5Working knowledge of Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation.
- 6Expertise in infection prevention and HIPAA compliance.
- 7Strong communication for patient education and team collaboration.

Salary Insight
