You will own periodontal therapy and patient education at a thriving private practice in Phoenix, Arizona, where hygiene is valued as a core clinical partner. You will work alongside a collaborative team of dentists and hygienists, using state-of-the-art technology like Digital X-Ray and Intraoral Cameras to deliver precise care. What You'll Do7
- 1Perform periodontal scaling and root planing for patients, following all state board protocols to ensure safe, effective treatment.
- 2Educate patients on Oral Hygiene strategies to prevent and manage periodontal disease, building trust through clear communication.
- 3Chart Periodontal Disease conditions using Dental Software (e.g., Dentrix) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- 4Collaborate with our Dentists to develop individualized care plans and coordinate patient appointments for optimal experience.
- 5Maintain operatory and equipment sterility per OSHA standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- 6Support the front desk with scheduling and patient flow, keeping the practice efficient and welcoming.
- 7Utilize Intraoral Cameras to visually document patient conditions and enhance patient education.
Requirements7
- 1Dental Hygiene licensure in compliance with the State Dental Board.
- 21+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice, with a focus on periodontal therapy.
- 3Proficiency with Dental Software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- 4Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build patient trust.
- 5Knowledge of ADA Dental Hygiene Standards and current best practices.
- 6Ability to work 32+ hours per week, including some Saturdays.
- 7Certification in CPR and local anesthesia administration is preferred.
