Lead Financial Technical Consultant, Workday
Overview
You will lead large-scale enterprise technology projects within the Finance division at HCSC, driving Workday and related system enhancements. You will own project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget. Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into technical solutions. This role offers a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on technical work, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote).
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead complex enterprise-wide technology projects, defining scope, timelines, and resources to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.
- 2Drive the design and implementation of Workday enhancements, aligning solutions with business needs and future demands.
- 3Build strong relationships with business and IT teams to identify innovative technology solutions that elevate application capabilities.
- 4Analyze project needs, determine resources, and execute from vision through implementation using structured project management methodology.
- 5Conduct complex analysis and design for HRMS and supporting applications, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- 6Mitigate project risks, track progress, and report results to management, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve elusive issues spanning multiple HR areas, applying analytical and conceptual skills.
- 8Document business processes, functional specifications, and project updates, ensuring clarity and consistency for all stakeholders.
Requirements10
- 15+ years experience working with Workday systems, including the ability to express complex concepts to customer audiences.
- 25+ years experience in finance systems support, with workflow analysis and procedure development.
- 35+ years experience using Workday or retrieving stored data from databases.
- 43+ years project management experience, including organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision to implementation.
- 5Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Data Processing, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
- 6Understanding of technology and IT impact on Finance, with ability to link to business processes.
- 7Knowledge of company business practices and strategic deployment of Workday solutions.
- 8Strong analytical, research, verbal, and documentation skills for business, functional, and project documentation.
- 9Teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers, team members, and management.
- 10Ability to thrive in an unstructured, non-hierarchical environment with dual reporting relationships.
Salary Insight
$84 - $152k per year
