Overview
You own compliance governance for Caremark’s PBM business, overseeing regulatory adherence across state and federal mandates. You lead a team that embeds compliance into operations, systems, and contracts, partnering with Legal and Enterprise Compliance. You steer a proactive compliance culture in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. This role offers high visibility with executive leadership and the chance to shape PBM compliance strategy.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for Caremark’s PBM business, assessing new federal and state requirements and partnering with Legal to determine applicability and impact.
- 2Drive implementation of compliance requirements across operations, systems, and controls, validating effectiveness through evidence-based reviews.
- 3Oversee PBM-related compliance investigations, including root cause analysis, reporting, and executive updates, ensuring corrective actions are sustained.
- 4Represent Compliance on enterprise governance committees and key business initiatives.
- 5Provide strategic compliance leadership to business partners, fostering a culture of regulatory accountability.
- 6Mentor and develop a team of compliance professionals, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Requirements8
- 110+ years in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management, Audit, Project Management, or similar oversight disciplines.
- 2Proven background leading major projects and mentoring project leaders.
- 3Ability to travel up to 10-15% including by plane.
- 4Deep expertise in PBM regulatory domains including rebate pass-through, pricing transparency, and state reporting mandates.
- 5Strong knowledge of PBM operations: manufacturer contracting, rebate administration, and client onboarding.
- 6Demonstrated success leading large-scale compliance programs in PBM, healthcare, or managed care.
- 7Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- 8Proven success leading teams and building organizational capability.
