What You'll Do20
- 1Answer phones within 3 rings using scripting standards
- 2Greet and check in patients professionally and efficiently
- 3Manage provider calendars in Dentrix Ascend
- 4Maintain and protect block scheduling templates to support production goals and optimal daily flow
- 5Manage Treatment Planning process to drive practice production and patient health outcomes by converting diagnosed treatment into scheduled appointments through trust clarity and confident financial communication
- 6Ensure accurate documentation and workflow completion including confirming communicating and reviewing treatment plans
- 7Ensure proper procedure time allocation and productive scheduling structure
- 8Complete care calls and treatment follow-ups
- 9Handle patient check-out and financial presentations
- 10Collect payments accurately
- 11Verify insurance benefits and communicate policies clearly
- 12Conduct seamless patient handoffs between clinical and administrative teams
- 13Provide daily direction to Adjunct Front Desk Coordinators and Scheduling Concierge roles
- 14Ensure completion and accuracy of daily checklists
- 15Track front office supplies administrative workflows and organization
- 16Coach team members on workflow adherence time management and multitasking
- 17Monitor schedule performance and patient communication standards
- 18Identify and correct workflow breakdowns
- 19Support onboarding and training of team members
- 20Report on KPI and goals on a weekly basis during leadership meetings
Requirements11
- 13–5 years dental front office experience
- 2Leadership experience preferred
- 3Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend
- 4Proficiency in treatment planning
- 5Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes
- 6Experience with production-driven block scheduling
- 7Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- 8Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- 9Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 10Demonstrates ownership of responsibilities and closes loops consistently
- 11Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and anticipate practice needs
