Overview
Subject Matter Expert leading design and development of modern applications for U.S. Census Bureau's DTAM effort. Provide technical and management leadership while adhering to USCB technical and security requirements and SDLC frameworks.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and develop applications spanning purpose-built custom, COTS, GOTS, low-code/no-code, SaaS, and open-source solutions
- 2Develop front-end back-end and full-stack components including UI/UX databases and microservices
- 3Build cloud-native applications with containerization CI/CD integration and IaC deployment strategies
- 4Incorporate application security encryption MFA authentication and authorization into design
- 5Manage version control quality assurance technical documentation and deployment strategies
- 6Apply DevSecOps methodology and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid secure releases
- 7Perform and support data migration and system integration activities
- 8Lead support and participate in code reviews and audits
- 9Integrate functional and non-functional requirements into design following SDLC
- 10Document and formalize application design and development best practices for team adoption
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or related field
- 215+ years technical and management leadership on major application development assignments SME level
- 3Expert experience developing cloud-native applications using microservices containerization and serverless architectures
- 4Strong front-end back-end and full-stack development skills across multiple languages platforms
- 5Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices
