Lash Artist, Eyelash Extensions & Brow Services
Overview
You will own the full lash artistry experience at Deka Lash West Bloomfield, delivering Classic, Hybrid, and Volume sets to a loyal clientele. You join a supportive team of licensed artists and report to a studio manager who invests in your growth through paid training and continuing education. What sets this role apart is the blend of technical artistry and retail sales, with bimonthly pay and performance bonuses from day one.
What You'll Do10
- 1Perform Classic, Hybrid, and Volume lash extensions with precision and speed, completing full sets in under 2 hours.
- 2Deliver brow lamination, brow tinting, lash tinting, sugaring, and facial services as licensed, tailoring each treatment to client needs.
- 3Build client trust by explaining aftercare and recommending retail products that preserve lash health and retention.
- 4Drive upsell of retail products and add-on services, hitting monthly sales targets through natural conversation.
- 5Manage client check-in and check-out using the booking system, maintaining accurate appointment records and follow-ups.
- 6Sanitize and organize your station daily, complying with Michigan state board regulations for cleanliness.
- 7Complete ongoing education modules and attend weekly team training to master Deka Lash techniques.
- 8Communicate professionally with clients and team, escalating any service concerns to the manager in real time.
- 9Maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude during peak hours, multitasking between appointments and walk-ins.
- 10Assist with studio opening/closing tasks and inventory restocking as assigned.
Requirements9
- 121+ years old
- 2Valid Michigan Cosmetology or Esthetician License (required)
- 3Lash Extension Certification preferred (training available)
- 4New grads welcomed
- 5Strong customer service and communication skills
- 6Sales or retail experience a plus
- 7Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- 8Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- 9Detail-oriented with excellent sanitation practices
