As a Laser Field Service Technician, you will own the repair and maintenance of advanced Mitsubishi laser cutting systems across the U.S. You'll travel Monday–Friday to customer sites, applying your electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues. What You'll Do8

  • 1Travel to customer sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex issues on Mitsubishi laser cutting systems.
  • 2Perform mechanical and electrical inspections, including dismantling, rebuilding, and adjusting system components.
  • 3Provide remote troubleshooting support via phone, ensuring accurate guidance and resolution.
  • 4Communicate professionally with customers to explain issues, timelines, and repair outcomes.
  • 5Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams for accurate analysis and repair.
  • 6Document service activities, findings, and resolutions with clarity and detail.
  • 7Complete and submit expense reports accurately and on time.
  • 8Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition.

Requirements10

  • 1Working knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, or industrial equipment.
  • 2Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • 3Ability to use Windows-based computer and service software.
  • 4Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5Comfortable working at heights when required.
  • 6Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • 7Ability to travel extensively Monday–Friday.
  • 8Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, or mechatronics.
  • 9Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • 10Experience reading and interpreting machine manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
