Overview
You own service and support for CNC machinery across Minneapolis, repairing, installing, and maintaining systems for industrial clients. You join a tight engineering team that partners with sales to keep machines running at peak uptime. What You'll Do7
- 1Install CNC machines and equipment at customer sites, from unboxing to full commissioning
- 2Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and Fanuc software faults, reducing unplanned downtime
- 3Run preventive maintenance schedules on CNC machinery to extend asset life
- 4Train customer operators on CNC operations and upkeep, sharpening their skill set
- 5Document every service call in the tracking system, ensuring accurate repair history
- 6Partner with engineering and sales teams to escalate product issues and shape upgrades
- 7Travel up to 20% overnight to service calls and installations across the region
Requirements7
- 1Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Precision Machining, or a related field
- 22+ years hands-on experience as a CNC Service Engineer or equivalent role
- 3Deep expertise with CNC machinery and Fanuc control systems, including parameter setting
- 4Proven skill in electrical troubleshooting and repair of CNC cabinets and drives
- 5Mechanical aptitude to align spindles, turrets, and tool changers with precision
- 6Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics for CNC integration
- 7Willingness to travel 20% overnight and manage own schedule independently
